Gwyneth Paltrow has cleared the air regarding the name of Beyonce's newborn daughter, confirming that the baby has been named Blue Ivy Carter.
The Crazy in Love singer delivered a daughter at New York's Lenox Hill Hospital on 7th January via a scheduled Caesarean section.
Early reports suggested that Beyonce and her husband Jay Z had named their firstborn Ivy Blue Carter, but family friend Paltrow clarified the gossip with her tweets.
"Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already," Contactmusic quoted her as saying in a tweet.
Later, she told a follower on the site, "It's Blue Ivy Carter!"
